Dr Simon Holloway
Dr Simon Holloway has a PhD in Critical and Creative Writing from Bangor University, Wales. He lectures in Creative Writing, focussing on writing fiction, creative theory, the processes and practices of creativity, and the actions of writers. His short fiction has been published around the world in places such as The North American Review, New Contrast, Stand and TEXT, and his latest novel, The Words We Use are Black and White, was published in 2014. His research interests include process theory, the nature of Creative Writing research at HE level and the pedagogy of Creative Writing. He welcomes applications from PhD students exploring any aspect of Creative Writing practice and process, especially those whose interests involve research into creative theory.
